Is Tree-Free eco-friendly?
Currently, we are focused on using post-consumer recycled paper. About 35% of municipal solid waste by weight is paper and paper products. At Tree-Free, we are committed to reversing this trend. By using recycled paper, we keep our forests tree-full. Thatโs more trees creating shade, producing the air we breathe, and absorbing harmful greenhouse gases.
Our 100% recycled papers meet the more rigorous standards for Process Chlorine Free (PCF) coding. PCF paper is made with fiber recycled from post-consumer waste and is unbleached or bleached without chlorine compounds. PCF paper is the most environmentally preferable type.
Not only are our papers processed chlorine free, but theyโre Green-e certified, and made with electricity generated from wind power. Not to be outdone, our envelope paper is produced from 80% reclaimed wheat straw, an agricultural by product. And, weโve brought our printing and production under one roof powered 100% by the sun.
Are your products made in the USA?
Our materials are sourced in the USA; and our printing and production occurs here as well. This guarantees quality and maintains jobs.
Why are our cards wrapped in plastic?
If you receive one of our beautiful products in cello, it is because the retailer has mandated us to protect the item to hold up in the handling process. We are opposed to the wasteful use of plastics and have been trying to find an adequate substitute - biodegradable plastics are evolving but still present too many downsides like reduced clarity & less durability.
How do I find my nearest bricks and mortar retailer?
Tree-Free Greetings cards and gifts are in sold in stores throughout the world. Itโs hard to know what a store has in stock, so call or email us with your zip code and weโll help you find a local retailer with the Tree-Free product you are looking for. If we canโt find a local shop, weโre happy to take your order over the phone or help you shop online.
How long will shipping take?
Our goal is to ship within 2 business days of receiving your order.
Do you ship to Canada?
We do not ship to Canada, but we do offer our cards on Amazon.
What are the methods of payment offered?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
What is your Return Policy?
We aim to please and want you to be happy with your Tree-Free purchases! If for some reason you are not pleased with your retail purchase, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase and we will credit your card (excluding shipping charges). Please note that you are responsible for return shipping charges for items that are not damaged or defective.
Do you add Sales Tax?
Sales tax is added to orders where it is applicable.
Can I make Charitable Donations?
